The First Ferrari piston, one of the 12 from #002c Ferrari 166 Corsa Spyder

Description

All its pistons were replaced when the car was restored in 1983 by Grand Prix SSR in Long Island and this is one that came out of the 1500cc 12 cylinder engine. 1 of only 2 pistons that were saved by one of the mechanics; the other 10 were unfortunately discarded, mounted on a Babinga wood base from West Africa with a descriptive plaque, 5.5” wide x 3.8” deep x 3” high, A- cond. (blackened from use).
