1955 - 24 Hours of Le Mans photograph of Juan Manuel Fangio's Mercedes 300 SLR, autographed by driver

Taken at the beginning of the race with Fangio in the lead prior to the accident of Pierre Levegh that killed 83 people causing Mercedes to withdraw its cars from the race. Mike Hawthorn and his Jaguar D-Type won this somber race. Includes a photo of Fangio  autographing the photo, 32” x 24”, A- cond., (creases, minor negative scratches).
