After Briggs Cunningham won his race in Palm Beach, Florida in his Porsche 356 Cabriolet in 1951 the Porsche factory produced a poster as a way of publicizing the victory to their clients. Those posters were distributed to Porsche dealerships for display in their showrooms with no real plans to continue publishing the aptly named "Victory Posters". That changed quickly as Porsche kept winning and Ferry Porsche hired illustrator Eric Strenger to design more. As Eric designed more of these iconic posters throughout the years the tradition has provided collectors with decades of factory produced posters that are highly desirable and rarely available in a collection as large as the one presented to you here.
This impressive collection was accumulated by a fervent Porsche collector and historian who has decided it's time to pass it on for others to enjoy.
