Intrepid GTP ¼ scale styling and wind tunnel test model

Designed by Bob Riley and built by Miller & Pratt engineering in Michigan. The car debuted in the IMSA Camel GT series in West Palm Beach Florida in 1991, driven by Wayne Taylor who finished 2nd in the #64 car. Tommy Kendall won the pole and finished 4th in car #65. The car was powered by a 6.0 liter Chevy V8. These models are usually made of metal, structural foam, clay and fiberglass finish, and then painted with partners’ and sponsors’ logo. The model is 48” long + case and plexiglass cover. Includes 3 Cibachrome photographs of the cars on the track, 11” x 14” each. A- cond. (minor scratches on cover).
Note: This model was presented as a gift to Herb Fishel, Director of Competition at GM at the time by Pratt Miller for his cooperation and help on the project and is now being offered for sale for the 1st time.
