Shown here is Gabriel and his Mors automobile beating the Long Island Railroad train by a few feet in Hicksville. This event was the first major race in the U.S. and was organized by William K Vanderbilt Jr. The race was won by George Heath in his Panhard. 40.5" x 22.5" including frame and mat, B+ cond. (fold marks, foxing, minor fading).
