Alfa Romeo trophy by Marcello Mascherini, Italy, 1970, awarded to P. de Leonibus, representation of twig with lone dried leaf, an annual tradition where the factory commissioned an Italian artist to create an award presented to VIP’s and drivers who campaigned the marque during the racing season, featured in book “20 Sculture per 10,000 Vittorie” (20 Sculptures for 10,000 Victories), which lists all recipients names, cast bronze, signed at base of figure, 11.75" high x 3" x 2.25", A- cond., (fruit-like ornament missing)
