Representing a scene from an opium parlor with a pretty bare chested lady lounging and smoking her pipe with a long gold chain around her neck and covered from the waist down with gold leaf wrap surrounded on the base by 8 musicians playing various instruments, signed by Erté on the thick blanket she’s laying on, stamped on lacquered metal base © 1989 Chalk and Vermilion and Sevenarts A.P. 4/37, 19” long x 14” high, A- cond. (has a few minor chips in patina and lacquer).
