This 1959 Grand prix was for Formula 2 and Sports cars, both races were won by Stirling Moss, one in his Cooper T45 Borgward and the other in his Mazerati Tipo 60.

Rouen-Les-Essarts was a 6.542 km (4.065 mi) motor racing circuit in Grand-Couronne, near Rouen, France.
