The ACF Grand Prix – or Grand Prix de l’ACF (from 1906–1967, and then Grand Prix de France from 1968–2008) was a race held as part of Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile’s annual Formula One automobile racing championships. It was one of the oldest motor races in the world. It ceased shortly after its centenary in 2008, a victim of finances and unfavourable venues. This vintage poster is for the 1958 event, a year where the 12 hours for sports cars was run on Saturday (won by Olivier Gendebien and Paul Frere in their Ferrari 250) and the Grand Prix was run on Sunday, won by Mike Hawthorn in his Ferrari Formula 1. 25.4” x 19”, linenbacked, A- cond., (minor edge wear and foxing).
