This dramatic artwork earned Hans Liska the attention of Daimler-Benz AG where he then worked in advertising for 9 years in the 1950’s. These 4 original posters depict various victories for Mercedes-Benz in Italy, France, Germany and a compilation of their 1954 & 1955 successes (listed in back of the poster) before they pulled out of racing due to the horrific 1955 accident at Le Mans. Each poster is signed in the plate, and all 4 are framed and matted together. Overall size 30” x 23”. A- cond., (minor foxing). Lot of 4.
