Jack Brabham accelerates his Cooper-Climax T51 at the Monaco Grand Prix of 1959, from Mirabeau down to the Station Hairpin followed by the Ferrari of Tony Brooks and Maurice Trintignant in Rob Walker's Cooper. It was after Moss was eliminated that Brabham assumed the lead with the works car to score an historic victory, his first in a World Championship race.
